Buyer seeks a strategic communications/public relations firm to develop and implement an integrated internal and external communications strategy. The goal is to position the buyer for increased support among key stakeholders and advance its strategic plan. The contract covers a one-year engagement to complete research, analysis, and strategic planning. The chosen firm will provide services including auditing current communications, conducting stakeholder research, developing a communications plan, and providing implementation training and counsel.

• Minimum of ten years experience providing strategic communications and public relations counsel
• Experience working with higher education institutions with diverse stakeholders
• Experience developing integrated stakeholder communications plans
• Experience creating messaging that resonates with diverse stakeholder groups

• Conduct audit of current support-oriented communications and activities
• Collect data via online research, interviews and focus groups with key stakeholders
• Benchmark Montgomery College against successfully positioned peer institutions
• Develop integrated strategic communications plan aligned with college goals
• Define audiences, goals, strategies, tactics, timelines and measures of success
• Provide content pillars and key message tracks for positioning with each audience
• Incorporate crisis communication strategy for managing college reputation
• Provide training sessions and ongoing counsel for plan implementation
