- Must be a fully established Community Benefit District, Business Improvement District, or nonprofit entity
- Must be in good standing with IRS, California Secretary of State, and Office of Attorney General
- Must have demonstrated success dealing with diverse constituents including businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies
- Develop detailed safety plan for Union Square or Yerba Buena areas
- Establish coordination mechanisms with city agencies and stakeholders
- Deploy and oversee safety ambassadors in target area
- Provide regular reporting on safety metrics and program effectiveness
- Manage grant requirements and financial reporting
- Develop training for safety ambassadors on de-escalation and referrals
- Coordinate with alternate area awardee on shared services
- Communicate program updates to the public and stakeholders
- Meet regularly with OEWD to discuss deployment and updates
- Procure and oversee subcontracts with safety ambassador providers
