The buyer seeks an experienced individual consultant to support tasks related to the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and Green Climate Fund (GCF). The consultant will assist with proposal development, compliance support, due diligence, and related tasks. The main objective is to provide high-quality support in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing documents for GEF and GCF proposals. The assignment will last two years with possible extension based on performance and need.

• Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Development Studies, Economics, Business, Public Policy, or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in GEF/GCF proposal development annexes, policy review, compliance
• Demonstrable experience supporting GEF/GCF project development and compliance processes
• Experience with creating, reviewing, and updating procedural documents for GEF/GCF projects
• Strong understanding of GEF/GCF compliance, due diligence, and project lifecycle processes
• Proven ability to produce high-quality written deliverables and annexes
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Develop and finalize annexes for GEF and GCF proposals
• Conduct budget reviews for alignment with GEF/GCF funding requirements
• Support due diligence processes and provide compliance improvement recommendations
• Assist in drafting self-assessments for GCF/GEF accreditation maintenance
• Review GEF/GCF policies and support organizational alignment
• Develop internal procedures to comply with GEF/GCF guidelines
• Provide ad hoc support for compliance with GEF/GCF standards
• Assist with risk management and institutional reporting requirements
