The buyer seeks a Planning Board Planner/Engineer for a one-year contract. The selected applicant will serve as the Planning Board Planner, attend meetings, and interface with the Planning Board Secretary. The position requires expertise in municipal planning, redevelopment projects, and knowledge of relevant laws and standards. The contract value is anticipated not to exceed $17,500.00 annually.

• 11/21/2024 - Proposal Due Date
• 1/1/2025 - Contract Start Date
• 12/31/2025 - Contract End Date

• Must be fully licensed and in good standing to practice as a Professional Planner in New Jersey

• Serve as Planning Board Planner for the City of Salem
• Attend meetings with the City of Salem Planning Board
• Interface with City Planning Board Secretary daily to track and administer projects
• Provide planning services for redevelopment projects
• Apply knowledge of Municipal Land Use Law (MLUL)
• Utilize knowledge of Residential Site Improvement Standards (RSIS)
• Provide planning services for municipalities
• Attend events and office consultations as required
• Submit to personal interviews if requested
• Provide additional clarifying information if required
