• Must be a Neighborhood Based Non-Profit Corporation (501(c)(3))
• Primary purpose must be improving physical, economic, or social environment of specific DHCD service area
• Governing body membership must be representative of community residents, business owners and stakeholders

• Perform outreach and provide residents information about City programs
• Provide input opportunities on housing and community development programs
• Conduct door-to-door outreach on mortgage and real estate resources
• Organize and host community events and workshops
• Assist with disposition of publicly owned vacant land
• Refer residents to DHCD-funded programs and maintain referral records
• Compile and maintain information on neighborhood conditions
• Establish and maintain Neighborhood Area Sub-Committee
• Promote sustainability and self-sufficiency initiatives
• Submit monthly progress reports and invoices
