The buyer is seeking qualified firms to plan, produce and promote events throughout the year in the city. The services include concept development, planning, sponsorship procurement, event production, talent procurement, and overall event management coordination. The buyer requires day-of-event coordination, budget management, programming, and implementation. The selected firm will work closely with City staff to manage various city events and activities.

• Manage full-cycle event planning for city events and activities
• Develop strategies for creative revenue generation through ticket sales, merchandise, sponsorships
• Develop annual budgets and control expenditures
• Oversee content on event websites
• Serve as media spokesperson for events as needed
• Ensure events comply with local, state, and federal requirements
• Prepare periodic reports for City Council and management
• Develop and execute event sponsorship programs
• Identify event goals, objectives and requirements
• Manage vendor selection and coordination
