The buyer seeks proposals to provide recruitment, retention, and support services for prospective and affirming LGBTQIA2S+ resource parents in Los Angeles County. Services will be provided in two regions covering all Service Planning Areas. The buyer aims to improve outcomes for LGBTQIA2S+ youth in foster care through targeted recruitment and support of affirming resource families. Contractors will develop recruitment campaigns, conduct informational sessions, and provide ongoing support services.

• Be a non-profit social service organization or public entity
• Have 3 years experience in last 5 years providing recruitment and support services
• Have a system to track client outcomes and program effectiveness
• Have staff training program on LGBTQIA2S+ competence
• Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

• Develop recruitment campaign for LGBTQIA2S+ affirming resource parents
• Manage and cultivate recruitment and retention services
• Develop calendar of proposed recruitment events
• Create inclusive recruitment campaign materials
• Advertise recruitment services for LGBTQIA2S+ resource parents
• Collaborate with stakeholders to embed key information in informational sessions
• Conduct in-person and virtual informational sessions
• Follow up with families that attended information sessions or events
• Ensure sufficient events in all Los Angeles County SPAs
• Provide support services for LGBTQIA2S+ resource parents
