• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 1-2 years experience in Public Relations, Media Relations, or government communication
• Valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia

• Implement overall communications strategies, including branding, imaging, and messaging efforts
• Manage and create content for city's social media platforms
• Maintain and update www.peachtree-city.org and social media sites
• Photograph and video events, places, and people; maintain photo library
• Develop strategies for crisis situations and potentially controversial topics
• Execute city advertisements and coordinate design
• Create weekly newsletter and other city publications
• Coordinate video development for the city
• Assist with various City events as needed
• Collaborate with departments to communicate information about special events and promotions
