• Minimum five years experience in acquisition of rights for eminent domain purposes
• Completion of courses in Uniform Relocation and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act

• Perform appraisals for property acquisitions
• Conduct good faith negotiations with property owners
• Prepare written correspondence and purchase agreements
• Coordinate with City staff and title company
• Maintain acquisition files and diaries
• Provide notary services for acquisition documents
• Complete final close-out work per Caltrans requirements
