Port of Houston Authority

The buyer is seeking consultants to perform construction materials testing services for multiple large projects across all Port Authority terminals. Services include conformance testing, specialty testing, and drilled shaft inspection. The buyer requires accredited laboratories and licensed professionals. The contract will be on an on-call basis as directed by the Port Authority.

• 1/22/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Accredited by American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA)
• Key engineers and entities must provide proof of current licensing and registration
• Project manager must be a licensed professional engineer in Texas

• Perform construction materials testing for multiple large projects across all Port Authority terminals
• Review contractor's submittals on source materials and mix designs for Portland cement concrete
• Perform required conformance testing according to specifications
• Conduct specialty testing including weld testing and non-destructive testing methods
• Provide drilled shaft construction inspector services as needed
