The buyer seeks qualified service providers for the operation of the County's Child Care Subsidy program. The contractor will determine eligibility, investigate fraud, track funds, maintain documentation, and utilize relevant systems. The contractor must comply with all relevant policies, integrate services with other Health and Human Services programs, and ensure confidentiality. The contract term is for 1 year with the option to renew for up to 3 years.

• 1/9/2025 - Provide Response to Questions

• 2/5/2025 - Contract Award
• 7/1/2025 - Contract Effective Date

• Determine eligibility for child care subsidy according to state and federal standards
• Investigate recipient/provider fraud and report to the County
• Track subsidized child care funds recouped from recipients/providers
• Maintain documentation in accordance with local, state and federal requirements
• Utilize State and County automated systems affecting the Child Care Subsidy Program
• Work with County employees to implement strategies meeting outcome goals
• Operate using relevant County, State, and/or Federal software and data systems
• Provide services and maintain a child care subsidy office in Buncombe County
• Process 95% or higher of Child Care Subsidy applications within 30 calendar days
• Be available during regular County business hours (M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
