Buyer seeks a contractor to provide Consumer Directed Home Care Services under the Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly Community Based Services Program. The contractor will function as a Fiscal Intermediary for Consumer Directed aides. Services include processing payroll, monitoring health assessments, maintaining records, and assisting consumers. The goal is to support long-term care needs and preferences while preventing nursing home placement and Medicaid spend-down.

• Minimum of 12 months experience providing Fiscal Intermediary services for Consumer Directed Programs

• Process payroll for Personal Assistants including tax withholdings
• Monitor completion of required annual worker health assessments
• Act as employer of record for insurance, unemployment and workers compensation
• Coordinate annual leave and benefits for Personal Assistants
• Maintain personnel records for Personal Assistants
• Maintain consumer records and monitor consumer's ability to fulfill responsibilities
• Assist consumers with recruitment and service coverage referrals
• Participate in on-site monitoring visits by DCOFA
• Review and forward aide activity sheets to DCOFA
• Provide notification of intent to transfer or terminate consumers
