The buyer seeks a partner to provide cost-effective pharmacy benefit administration services. The buyer requires comprehensive services including claims administration, formulary management, and member support. The contract will be on an Administrative Services Only (ASO) basis. The buyer may select one PBM for both Commercial and EGWP coverage, or separate vendors. The selected partner should have a proven track record of excellent customer service and innovative utilization management strategies.

• Ten years experience administering comparable benefits
• Offer Commercial Rx plan and Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP)
• At least 1 million covered lives across PBM plan book of business
• Direct contract between LCPS and PBM without brokers or commissions
• Experience with public sector clients/municipalities of similar size
• Ability to produce monthly and quarterly experience reports
• Authorized to do business in Virginia

• Provide claims administration for pharmacy benefits
• Assist with monitoring legislative initiatives and insurance regulations
• Manage Rx formulary and retail network
• Operate mail order and specialty programs
• Provide data reporting including standard and ad-hoc reports
• Administer pricing
• Offer member support services including website and mobile app
• Administer Commercial Rx plan
• Administer Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP)
• Produce monthly and quarterly experience reports by plan
