Buyer seeks a contractor to provide Airfield Training Consulting Services for O'Hare and Midway International Airports. The contractor will administer initial and recurrent training to comply with FAA requirements. Services include developing and conducting training programs, maintaining training records, and inputting data into the Airport Training Database. The contractor must have extensive experience in airport operations and be able to train approximately 20,000 personnel annually on various aspects of airfield operations and safety.

  • At least five years of experience in Airport Operations Environment
  • Developed training systems/programs complying with FAR 139.303 and ACM
  • Knowledge of Construction on Airports, Airfield Inspection practices, and Aircraft Design Group setbacks
  • Familiarity with Airport Certification Manual and Airport Emergency Plan requirements
  • Administer initial, recurring, and supplemental airfield training
  • Maintain records of all individuals receiving training
  • Input training information into Airport Training Database
  • Provide training for approximately 20,000 personnel annually
  • Develop module-based training programs compliant with FAR 139.303
  • Train personnel on airfield inspection practices and snow removal operations
  • Provide training on construction on airports and FAA Airspace Studies
  • Ensure training covers Airport Certification Manual and Emergency Plan requirements
  • Conduct training on pedestrian and ground vehicle procedures
  • Offer specialized training for advanced drivers and basic drivers
