  • Provide auctioneering services for surplus City property including vehicles, firearms, and miscellaneous items
  • Transport vehicles and equipment from City facilities to auction site
  • Remove City decals and identification from vehicles prior to sale
  • Advertise auctions in newspapers and online
  • Conduct regularly scheduled public auctions
  • Maintain secure facility for storing City property before auctions
  • Process titles and submit sold notices to Motor Vehicle Department
  • Provide detailed accounting and reports of all auction sales
  • Collect and remit sales tax and payments to City within 30 days
  • Offer optional online auction capabilities
