Buyer seeks proposals from qualified firms or individuals to prepare an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan. The plan will identify and address accessibility issues at City-owned buildings and recreation facilities. It will include evaluation of public access to City programs, services, and activities. The ideal firm will have experience inspecting local government facilities for ADA Compliance and preparing ADA Transition Plans for local governments.

• Knowledge of ADA standards and regulations
• Experience in similar or related projects
• Ability to complete projects effectively, timely, economically, and professionally

• Prepare self-evaluation information and identify data gaps
• Lead outreach and engagement with key stakeholders
• Identify processes to facilitate implementation of Transition Plan
• Provide recommendations for mapping, reporting, and tracking progress
• Develop financially constrained schedule for implementing barrier removal
• Recommend milestones to monitor Transition Plan implementation progress
• Inspect local government facilities for ADA compliance
• Evaluate public access to City programs, services, and activities
• Address accessibility issues at City-owned buildings and recreation facilities
• Provide examples of final ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan
