The buyer seeks engineering services for implementing approved FY 2025 CDBG project(s). The selected firm will be responsible for all engineering services from project planning through closeout. Tasks include preparing plans, managing the bidding process, overseeing construction, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The buyer encourages proposals from Minority-owned, Woman-owned, and Section 3 eligible businesses.

• 2/12/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Prepare plans and specifications for CDBG project(s)
• Distribute bid documents to potential contractors
• Assist in bid opening and prepare bid tabulation
• Assist in the execution of construction contracts
• Hold pre-construction conference with selected contractor(s)
• Perform construction inspection including periodic reports to the Town
• Approve all payment requests from contractors
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and policies
• Provide job training and employment opportunities to lower income Wesson residents
• Manage project through closeout phase
