The buyer is seeking professional budget consulting services for the 2025 calendar year. The consultant will review and analyze budget documents, provide financial advice, attend meetings, and prepare required submissions. The consultant must have extensive experience with municipal budgets in New Jersey. Services will be provided from January 1 to December 31, 2025.

• 1/1/2025 - Contract Start Date
• 2/13/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 12/31/2025 - Contract End Date

• 10 years experience providing financial consulting to government entities
• 5 years experience providing services to New Jersey municipalities
• Current NJ CPA and Registered Municipal Accountant licenses
• Demonstrated knowledge of City's current financial state

• Review budget document for 2025 calendar year
• Review anticipated revenues to determine maximum available revenues
• Review supporting documentation for budget appropriations
• Prepare summarized budget workbook for Municipal Council
• Provide detailed analysis of property tax impacts
• Attend Municipal Council meetings and public hearings related to budget
• Prepare budget document for submission to State of New Jersey
• Provide continuous budgetary and financial advisory services throughout 2025
