Kansas Judicial Administrator

The buyer is seeking to contract with firms or individuals to review financial processes and procedures for district and appellate courts. The contractor will advise on best practices, perform financial review services, and provide risk assessments and internal control analysis. They will also train court staff and assist with implementing effective internal financial controls. The work involves traveling to district courts throughout Kansas to review their financial processes.

• Be a firm registered with Kansas Board of Accountancy or licensed CPA
• Be in good standing with Kansas Board of Accountancy
• Have at least five years of auditing or review work
• Have sufficient financial resources to perform work and advance costs

• Review financial processes and procedures
• Advise on best practices for court financial activities
• Perform financial review services
• Provide risk assessments and internal control analysis
• Train court staff on effective internal financial controls
• Assist with implementation of effective internal financial controls
• Travel to district courts to review financial processes
