• Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Michigan
• Seven years experience auditing school districts or similar organizations
• No conflicts of interest with Westwood
• Meet independence standards of Government Auditing Standards Board
• Staff meet continuing education requirements
• No record of substandard audit work

• Conduct thorough audits of financial statements
• Assess compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Identify potential risks and internal control weaknesses
• Provide independent assurance to stakeholders
• Ensure timely completion and submission of required reports
• Prepare annual financial reports in compliance with standards
• Complete Single Audit Report for federal and state standards
• Present findings to the Board of Education
• Establish annual audit schedule
• Conduct preliminary and final fieldwork
