• Licensed Certified Public Accountant experienced in Illinois school district auditing
• Senior field auditor with 3-5 years experience supervising school district audits
• Membership in AICPA, AICPA's Governmental Audit Quality Center, and Illinois CPA Society
• Meet continuing professional education requirements of Government Auditing Standards
• Provide most recent peer review report
• No record of substandard work
• At least three school district audit clients in last two years
• Existing engagement with at least three other Illinois public school districts

• Prepare and examine basic financial statements in accordance with GASB standards
• Conduct audit in accordance with OMB Circular A-133 requirements
• Review and assist in preparing Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
• Prepare Annual Financial Report (ISBE 50-35) for submission to Illinois State Board of Education
• Prepare Annual Federal Financial Compliance Section Report (Single Audit)
• Complete and initially file Data Collection Form (SF-SAC)
• Prepare Management Letter for the District
• Provide Student Activity Report consistent with prior year's report
• Report all Adjusting Journal Entries required
• Consult with District staff on MD&A and Transmittal Letter preparation
