Buyer seeks a qualified organization to serve as a permanent Operator for the Baltimore Farmers' Market. The selected operator will oversee all aspects of the Market beginning in 2025, including day-of operations, vendor selection and management, and marketing and promotion. The Market operates on Sundays from April through December, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, rain or shine. Buyer aims to maintain the Market's status as Maryland's largest producer-only farmers' market while aligning with Baltimore's cultural and economic goals.

• Licensed non-profit or for-profit entity in Good Standing with Maryland
• Experience managing events, markets, or similar public-facing initiatives
• Proven ability to develop and manage budgets
• Familiarity with vendor relations and market regulations
• Knowledge of Baltimore's cultural and economic landscape
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and community engagement

• Manage day-to-day market operations, including vendor planning and compliance
• Recruit and retain diverse mix of vendors, focusing on local farmers and businesses
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase market attendance and visibility
• Curate market programming supporting local organizations and cultural initiatives
• Create and maintain market's operating budget, ensuring financial sustainability
• Provide monthly and annual reports on market performance and community impact
• Manage event logistics, including permitting, security, and public safety coordination
• Facilitate clear communication with vendors regarding policies, schedules, and fees
• Maintain market website and manage digital and social media outreach
