Buyer seeks proposals from qualified professional special event production companies to plan and implement one or all city events: State of the City, Taste of Jalisco Festival, and Cathedral City LGBT+ Days. Buyer requires comprehensive event management services including entertainment booking, vendor coordination, marketing, volunteer management, and overall event production. The selected contractor will work closely with the buyer's Communications & Events Manager to execute successful events.

• 2/21/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Minimum five years experience in planning, production, and implementation of similar events

• Develop detailed timeline of activities for festivals
• Book and coordinate entertainment and vendors
• Create site map and event layout
• Manage volunteers and staff
• Obtain required licenses and permits
• Provide private security services
• Implement marketing and promotion plan
• Coordinate with city staff and attend planning meetings
• Manage event budget and sponsorships
• Produce post-event report
