City of Cathedral City
Buyer seeks proposals from qualified professional special event production companies to plan and implement one or all city events: State of the City, Taste of Jalisco Festival, and Cathedral City LGBT+ Days. Buyer requires comprehensive event management services including entertainment booking, vendor coordination, marketing, volunteer management, and overall event production. The selected contractor will work closely with the buyer's Communications & Events Manager to execute successful events.

- 2/21/2025 - Proposal Due Date
- Minimum five years experience in planning, production, and implementation of similar events
- Develop detailed timeline of activities for festivals
- Book and coordinate entertainment and vendors
- Create site map and event layout
- Manage volunteers and staff
- Obtain required licenses and permits
- Provide private security services
- Implement marketing and promotion plan
- Coordinate with city staff and attend planning meetings
- Manage event budget and sponsorships
- Produce post-event report
