Buyer seeks a Design-Build contractor to design and install rooftop solar arrays on buildings at the main Athens campus. The project includes installations at Laushe Heating Plant Coal Shed, Ping Recreation Center, and Walter Fieldhouse. The contractor will be responsible for preconstruction services, design development, construction, and project management. The project aims to integrate solar energy systems into existing campus infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain estimates of probable construction cost
• Lead and manage Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents stages
• Conduct value engineering and develop project schedules
• Perform preconstruction services including schedule development and program verification
• Design and install rooftop solar arrays on specified campus buildings
• Integrate solar panels with existing electrical services
• Manage subcontractor prequalification and bidding process
• Conduct weekly progress meetings and ensure project safety
• Monitor compliance with EDGE, equal employment, and prevailing wage requirements
• Construct the project according to approved construction documents and schedule
