• Advise on building codes, safety ordinances, and enforcement procedures
• Participate in public hearings and meetings to present findings
• Offer guidance on urban design and environmental impact assessments
• Conduct site visits for pre-development evaluations and safety inspections
• Perform environmental inspections of residential properties
