The consultant will focus on enhancing brand visibility, positioning as a thought leader, building compelling stories, managing reputation, and assisting with crisis communication. The consultant will also provide print and design support. Services are divided into two categories: content creation and message development/strategy.

• Minimum 2 years experience in content design and creation (Category A)
• Minimum 5 years experience in Chicago media relations (Category B)
• Knowledge of Chicago media landscape
• Experience with non-English language media outlets

• Enhance CPL's brand visibility
• Position CPL as a thought leader locally and nationally
• Build compelling stories about library impact
• Manage library's reputation
• Assist with crisis communication needs
• Provide print and design support
• Coordinate and execute branding strategy
• Create content for diverse audiences including non-English speakers
• Ensure language access and ADA standards for design
• Place stories in high-profile media outlets
