The buyer is seeking proposals from certified public accountants to audit its financial statements. Audits must be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and OMB Circular A-133. The contract will be for a period of four years starting in August 2025. The buyer intends to award one contract to the firm presenting the proposal considered to be of best value.

• 1/14/2025 - RFP Issuance Date
• 3/7/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Be a Licensed Certified Public Accounting Firm
• Have minimum 5 years experience in municipal governmental audits
• Provide at least 5 references of clients for similar services
• Demonstrate ability to provide requested services

• Examine and express opinion on City's financial statements
• Prepare Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
• Prepare Report on Internal Control over Financial Reporting
• Prepare Report on compliance with laws related to Federal assistance programs
• Observe adequacy of financial policies and accounting systems
• Provide recommendations in management letter if weaknesses noted
• Provide guidance on proper accounting procedures
• Inform City staff of new applicable accounting pronouncements
• Complete audit work and provide Draft Audit Report by November 10th
• Provide Final Audit Report by November 20th
