The buyer seeks a qualified firm to audit its annual financial statements for fiscal year 2025, with options for 2026 and 2027. The audit must be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and Government Auditing Standards. • Proposer submits copy of last peer review report
• Proposer has record of quality audit work
• Proposer has experience with comparable government engagements
• Proposer can assist clients in retaining GFOA Certificate of Achievement

• Express opinion on fair presentation of basic financial statements
• Perform audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards
• Issue independent auditor's report on basic financial statements
• Issue report on internal control over financial reporting and compliance
• Provide management letter with recommendations for improvement
• Complete fieldwork by August 31, 2025
• Issue final reports by September 15, 2025
• Submit reports to Legislative Auditor's office
• Make work papers available upon request
• Assist MSFA in retaining GFOA Certificate of Achievement
