The buyer seeks to establish a contract for orientation and mobility and vision rehabilitation services for blind or visually impaired individuals throughout the state. The contractor will also provide statewide accommodation transportation to blind or visually impaired state employees who travel for work. Services aim to promote independence and quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

• Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist(s) staff with state-wide availability
• Certified Vision Rehabilitation Therapist(s) staff with state-wide availability
• Experience providing state-wide accommodation transportation services
• Tools/equipment/software for orientation, mobility and vision rehabilitation services
• Experience working with state agencies serving individuals with disabilities

• Provide orientation and mobility training techniques
• Offer vision rehabilitation teaching and training in daily living activities
• Conduct low vision services including screening and evaluation
• Provide statewide transportation services for blind/visually impaired state employees
• Hold peer assisted learning support groups
