• At least five years of experience securing resources for funded programs
• Demonstrated commitment to the school and surrounding community

• Employ a full-time Community School Director housed at the school
• Build on school improvement plans to address overall school community needs
• Participate in school-level teams to integrate community school strategy
• Support strategies to improve school attendance and reduce chronic absenteeism
• Leverage existing partnerships and resources to support the school
• Build parent and family leadership
• Develop new partnerships to support school and Community School Action Plan goals
• Use data to identify students needing services and link them to those services
• Manage volunteer, promotional, and community events
• Participate in professional development meetings and opportunities
