The services will assist city staff in determining if candidates meet job requirements for employment, promotion, or participation in city duties. The buyer prefers a web-based service that can provide comprehensive background checks including criminal records, employment verification, and other screening elements.

• 2/27/2025 - Pre-Proposal Meeting
• 3/3/2025 - Question Submission Deadline
• 3/11/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Conduct personal data and SSN verification with address history
• Verify past employment (minimum 10 years or 2 employers)
• Verify college/university degrees and professional licenses
• Perform federal, state, county and city criminal records searches
• Verify military service including type of discharge
• Provide motor vehicle reports (last 39 months)
• Conduct consumer credit reports and federal bankruptcy checks
• Provide web-based program for background check services
• Complete background check reports within 72 business hours
• Provide training on system access and report interpretation
