The buyer seeks a qualified CARB accredited verification body to perform independent third-party verification of the buyer's Electric Utility's annual GHG emissions report. The service provider will verify reports in compliance with CARB's Regulation for Mandatory Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions for electric utilities. The contract term is for three years with option to extend for two additional one-year terms.

• 2/26/2025 - Question Submission Deadline
• 3/12/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 4/8/2025 - Anticipated Vendor Selection Date

• Five years experience within past five years providing similar services
• CARB certification for appropriate staff
• Recognition by CARB as a verification body

• Prepare and submit Conflict of Interest Evaluation and Notification of Verification Services to CARB
• Conduct project kick-off and coordination meetings
• Develop verification plan and data sampling plan
• Assess GHG emissions report for material misstatement and conformity with CARB procedures
• Provide monthly progress updates
• Submit verification report, opinions, and statement to CARB by August 10 deadline
