The buyer is seeking a Certified Public Accountant to provide financial and compliance audit services. The contract will be for three consecutive fiscal years. The audits must be conducted in accordance with auditing standards and Government Auditing Standards. The auditor will prepare required reports and evaluate internal controls and compliance.

• 1/28/2025 - Issue Request for Proposals
• 2/26/2025 - Proposers' Conference
• 3/12/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Properly licensed for public practice as a certified public accountant
• Meets independence requirements of Government Auditing Standards
• Staff meets continuing education requirements of Government Auditing Standards
• No record of substandard audit work

• Conduct financial and compliance audits for 3 consecutive fiscal years
• Prepare required audit reports including those for Government Auditing Standards
• Evaluate internal controls and compliance with laws and regulations
• Verify and test expenditures of Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax proceeds
• Prepare schedule of findings and questioned costs if required
