- Class A Contractor's license issued by California State Contractor's License Board
- Participate in design review process
- Provide cost estimating and marketplace condition knowledge
- Conduct project planning and scheduling
- Provide value engineering
- Plan construction phasing to limit impact on daily operations
- Evaluate alternate systems and conduct constructability studies
- Advise on procurement of long-lead items
- Assist with permitting processes
- Select subcontractors and suppliers
- Perform surface and subsurface investigations
