Key areas of focus include Project Marvel, Western Downtown San Antonio, and potentially a third site. The consultant will identify potential customers, perform feasibility analyses, and develop cost estimates and staffing plans. • Have a Professional Engineer licensed in Texas on the team
• Experience designing district chilled water systems of at least 5,000 tons

• Develop growth plan for SAWS' District Cooling System

• Create life cycle cost analyses for potential customers
• Assist in developing city ordinance for chilled water system hookups
• Determine proper sizing and phasing of new chilled water plants
• Perform hydraulic modeling for chilled water piping
• Develop cost estimates for new chilled water infrastructure
• Create staffing plans to support new chilled water systems
• Summarize analyses in comprehensive final report
