The buyer seeks to establish contracts for Community Based Sex Offender Therapists in Bennington County. Services will be provided via the Bennington Probation and Parole site. The contract period is anticipated to be from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027 with options to renew. The therapists will conduct assessments, treatment groups, and aftercare for sex offenders referred by the state.

• Be a current member of or agree to join Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers
• Become certified by Vermont DOC to score risk assessment instruments within one year

• Conduct individual assessments on referred sex offenders
• Prepare written evaluations
• Conduct weekly treatment groups for 4-8 sex offenders
• Conduct monthly aftercare group treatment as needed
• Employ cognitive-behavioral group treatment model
• Maintain clinical records and files for each client
• Notify staff of missed appointments, suspensions, or terminations
• Attend supervision team meetings and polygraph meetings
• Complete required continuing education hours
• Participate in program monitoring and evaluation procedures
