Substance Abuse and Treatment Services for Temporary Cash Assistance Program

The buyer is seeking a vendor to implement and provide Substance Abuse and Treatment Services (SATS) for individuals referred by the Charles County Department of Social Services. The program will provide screening, assessment, and treatment referral services by credentialed addiction specialists. Services will be delivered to participants in temporary cash assistance, food supplemental, and child welfare programs. The contract term is initially for three years with potential renewal for two additional years.

- Be in good standing with accredited agencies, LBHA, and BHA
- Develop and/or operate behavioral health services in Charles County
- Be in good standing with Maryland Department of Taxation and Assessment
- Deliver substance use screening, assessment, and referral services
- Provide urinalysis and case management services
- Ensure addiction specialists are properly credentialed
- Attend required meetings and trainings
- Enter data into BHA system
- Maintain confidential case files
- Track participant milestones
- Submit quarterly expenditure and personnel reports
- Participate in annual monitoring visits
- Achieve specified program result targets
