The buyer is seeking proposals from qualified agencies to partner in providing Head Start and Early Head Start programs for children ages 0-5 throughout San Bernardino County. Services include full-day and part-day center-based programs, as well as home-based programs. The buyer requires comprehensive age-appropriate curriculum, safe learning environments, socialization skills development, meals, and parent involvement. Proposers must have extensive experience in early childhood education and comply with Head Start Performance Standards.

• Minimum five years experience providing early childhood development services
• At least three years of Head Start and Early Head Start experience
• Ability to provide Full Services or Partial Support Services

• Provide comprehensive age-appropriate curriculum for children ages 0-5
• Maintain safe and healthy learning environment
• Offer socialization skills development
• Provide meals and snacks as applicable
• Involve parents in day-to-day program activities
• Conduct educational home visits and group socialization activities
• Perform health screenings and follow-ups
• Maintain required documentation and data entry
• Conduct parent conferences and home visits
• Implement transition plans for children aging out of programs
