Deming Public Schools

The buyer seeks Educational Diagnostic Services for up to 4 years. Services include English and bilingual evaluations for students with disabilities and those referred for Special Education eligibility. The buyer requires flexible, reliable providers to conduct evaluations, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings. Services are needed from July to June annually, with evaluations conducted at school sites selected by the district.

• 3/6/2025 - Response to Questions/RFP Amendments
• 3/21/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 3/28/2025 - Proposal Evaluation
• 4/17/2025 - District Recommendation to Board
• 4/18/2025 - Submission of Award

• Evaluators must be licensed by New Mexico Public Education Department
• Bilingual evaluators must be fluent in English and Spanish
• Vendor must comply with background investigation policy

• Provide 150 English initial evaluations and re-evaluations per year
• Provide 150 bilingual (English and Spanish) initial evaluations and re-evaluations per year
• Administer standardized assessment tools
• Write formal typed reports for IEP teams
• Participate in IEP meetings as necessary
• Consult with Eligibility Determination team and instructional staff
• Supply testing materials as needed
• Comply with New Mexico, IDEA, and district standards
• Deliver reports within 10 calendar days of evaluation completion
• Provide services from July 1 to June 30 each year
