Deming Public Schools

The buyer seeks Educational Diagnostic Services for up to 4 years. The provider will interpret evaluations, attend IEP meetings, and assist in determining eligibility for special education services. Services are needed from July 1st to June 30th each year. The provider must be flexible, reliable, and communicate accurately with the Special Education Department.

• 2/21/2025 - Issuance of RFP
• 3/3/2025 - Deadline to Submit Written Questions
• 3/6/2025 - Response to Questions/RFP Amendments
• 3/21/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 3/28/2025 - Proposal Evaluation
• 4/17/2025 - District Recommendation to Board
• 4/18/2025 - Submission of Award

• New Mexico Public Education Department licensure for each provider
• Availability from July 1 to June 30 each year
• Comply with background investigation policy
• Provide documentation of services

• Interpret 200 English and bilingual initial evaluations and re-evaluations per year
• Attend scheduled Individual Education Plan meetings
• Be available at least 3 days each week
• Assist EDT/IEP Committees in interpreting diagnostic test results and reports
• Determine eligibility and develop individual student IEPs
• Consult with Eligibility Determination Team and instructional staff
