The buyer is seeking a qualified certified public accounting firm to audit its financial statements for five fiscal years. The audits must be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and government auditing standards. The selected firm will be required to issue various reports and conduct Transient Occupancy Tax audits.

• 4/10/2025 - Interviews with Finalists
• 4/21/2025 - Contract Date

• Audit financial statements for fiscal year ending June 30, 2025 and four subsequent years
• Perform audits in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards
• Issue report on fair presentation of financial statements
• Issue report on internal control over financial reporting and compliance
• Issue report on compliance for each major federal program
• Prepare Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards
• Conduct Transient Occupancy Tax audits for five hotel/motels
• Attend progress conferences and meetings with City staff
• Prepare draft and final audit reports
• Submit required forms and data collection forms
