• Firm and staff properly licensed to practice in Missouri
• Independent and no conflict of interest with City of Mexico
• Experience with comparable government engagements

• Express opinion on fair presentation of basic financial statements
• Produce basic financial statements, Single Audit Report, and Management Letter
• Review Management's Discussion and Analysis and required supplementary information
• Provide supplementary information for non-major governmental funds
• Assist with packaging ACFR for GFOA submission
• Conduct special review of risk assessment standards implementation
• Issue reports on financial statements, compliance, and internal controls
• Communicate significant deficiencies or material weaknesses to management
• Present report to City Council and answer questions
• Prepare, edit, and print final report (except Transmittal Letter, MD&A, and Statistical Section)
