Michigan State Housing Development Authority

Buyer seeks an experienced firm to market and sell Authority-owned (REO) and Authority-controlled multi-family housing developments. The selected contractor will provide broker services, analyze offers, negotiate with buyers, prepare marketing materials, and represent the Authority during sales. Services aim to achieve state, regional and national exposure to assure best price and investment return. The contract is anticipated for three years with two optional annual renewals.

• 3/10/2025 - Deadline to submit questions
• 3/17/2025 - Anticipated date Authority will post answers to questions
• 3/31/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 7/1/2025 - Anticipated contract begin date

• Have experience marketing and selling multi-family developments
• Have experienced personnel to perform services or personnel supervised by experienced staff

• Provide broker services for listing, marketing, and selling REO and QC properties
• Analyze offers and advise Authority staff on options
• Negotiate with potential buyers for best possible results
• Prepare marketing materials and formulate marketing strategy
• Engage in weekly conference calls to update Authority on property status
• Represent Authority during sale of REO and QC properties
• Prepare listing agreements for QC properties
• Present all offers to Authority in timely manner
• Keep Authority fully informed monthly on all marketing and sale activities
• Seek acceptable price and terms for REO and QC properties
