Maine Department of Education

The buyer is seeking management and development services for its Maine Online Open-Source Education (MOOSE) Platform. The MOOSE Platform is a free digital library of Maine Learning Results aligned, PreK-12, project-based, interdisciplinary modules on a custom-built, Drupal-based platform. The buyer requires ongoing Platform management services and in-house expertise to evolve the Platform through separate service contracts when needed.

• Provide hosting for the MOOSE Platform
• Conduct design and technical audits of the current platform
• Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support services
• Maintain sufficient expertise to address platform evolution requests
• Implement the solution within the Production Environment
• Create and maintain a detailed project work plan
• Perform testing in accordance with the Deployment Certification Policy
• Provide monthly reports on relevant metrics
• Ensure data ownership and isolation for the Department
• Adhere to State of Maine branding guidelines
