Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA)

Buyer seeks contractors to provide advanced technology support services focusing on microelectronics. The program leverages advanced technologies to meet Department of Defense requirements for rapid acquisition, development, and deployment of solutions. Buyer needs services to keep systems operational, enhance capabilities, and address threats through advanced microelectronics. The scope includes both hardware and software development including studies, design, simulation, fabrication, prototyping, integration, testing, and limited production.

  • Conduct studies and analyses of technology applications
  • Provide extended limited production for bridging development gaps
  • Implement logistics support including maintenance and training
  • Develop and integrate software for embedded systems
  • Ensure microelectronics security and reliability for critical systems
  • Provide solutions for microelectronics obsolescence in military systems
  • Create prototypes using advanced manufacturing technologies
  • Test and evaluate electronic components and systems
  • Implement AI and machine learning in microelectronics applications
  • Develop cybersecurity solutions for hardware systems
  • Support system lifecycle including extended engineering services
  • Perform technical data management and documentation
  • Implement network-enabled and trusted systems development
  • Apply nanotechnology and advanced electronics manufacturing techniques
