Buyer seeks to retrofit a PennDOT vehicle with an Automated Truck Mounted Attenuator (ATMA) System operating in Leader/Follower configuration. The system will enhance highway worker safety by creating an autonomous follower vehicle. The project includes hardware/software installation, comprehensive training, testing on closed tracks and live highways, and ongoing maintenance support. Buyer will utilize the system in their Automated Driving Systems Demonstration project investigating safe integration of automated vehicles in work zones.

• Prime Contractor must perform at least 50% of contract value
