  • Replace three emergency generators located at roof level of Gudelsky Building

  • Install new 13.2kV, 2MW emergency generator to feed North Hospital
  • Install two 480V, 2.0MW emergency generators with refeeding to existing paralleling gear
  • Coordinate outages with UMMS and UMMC Facilities Team
  • Manage storage and delivery of generator sets to project site
  • Rent crane and lift equipment for removal and installation of generators
  • Obtain permits for street/public right-of-way closures for crane operations
  • Perform load bank testing with connecting cables after each genset installation
  • Ensure compliance with EPA Emissions standards for emergency generators
  • Complete construction while coordinating with UMMC Stoler CAM project
  • Maintain 25% Women and Minority Business Enterprise participation
  • Conduct demolition and modifications of electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems
  • Perform rigging operations in building penthouse for generator replacement
  • Coordinate schedule to meet critical November 1, 2026 operational deadline
  • Manage exterior façade, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life safety work
  • Modify existing paralleling switchgear for controls and synchronization
  • Complete three separate and independent generator lift phases
  • Ensure adherence to UMMC MEP Standards - 2023 Edition
  • Execute project with AIA A102-2017 contract form with guaranteed max price
