Buyer is seeking an Executive Director to direct and manage its business affairs. The Executive Director will provide support for SFVCOG meetings, develop programs and priorities, and represent the organization to external stakeholders. Buyer requires someone experienced with San Fernando Valley public affairs and issues like transportation, housing, and economic development. The position acts as principal liaison with federal, state, regional, and local agencies.

• 1/1/2026 - Contract Start Date

• Direct and manage SFVCOG business affairs
• Develop and present proposed programs and priorities
• Lead implementation efforts for approved programs
• Develop annual legislative advocacy program
• Seek grants and revenue to implement priorities
• Serve as liaison to Southern California Association of Governments
• Represent SFVCOG with federal, state and local agencies
• Facilitate annual Valley Mobility Summit
• Maintain Form 700 compliance for all Board members
• Develop and operate SFVCOG communications including web page
