Buyer seeks to contract with multiple Technology Assessment Centers (TACs) to conduct evidence-based health technology assessments. These assessments will support state health policy determinations by providing comprehensive analyses of scientific literature on selected medical technologies. Buyer anticipates producing six to eight full technology assessments per year, with assessments taking between six to twelve months to complete. The program helps ensure medical treatments paid for with state healthcare dollars are safe and proven effective.
