Tahoe Pyramid Trail East Feasibility Study

Buyer seeks to complete a feasibility study for the Tahoe Pyramid Trail East connecting Sparks to the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, Wadsworth, and Fernley. The study will identify safe alternative transportation routes across four sections and evaluate existing infrastructure, property ownership, and safety considerations. The project is part of the Transportation Alternatives Program and is critical for completing the Tahoe Pyramid Trail. The study will produce a final report containing evaluation of segments, cost estimates, and ranked alternatives.

- Completed at least one Transportation Planning Study with bicycle/pedestrian improvements within three years
- Experience with projects of similar scope and complexity
- Technical expertise with multi-use path design within last ten years
- Identify safe alternative transportation route connecting Sparks to TRIC, Wadsworth, and Fernley
- Analyze existing infrastructure, property ownership, and safety considerations
- Conduct public and stakeholder engagement to gather input
- Evaluate four sections between Sparks and USA Parkway
- Develop construction and maintenance cost estimates
- Produce final report with ranked alternatives
- Consider trail suitability modeling and phasing options
- Identify potential complications and mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with NDOT Headquarters and local stakeholders
- Complete feasibility study as final element for TPT
